Looks like it will be wet as a shag.

Grunt will win this week. And a good defence to stop any fast breaks once you lock it in the 50..

Unfortunately, this reminds me of the dim, and , for what appeared until recently to be distant, past (2 or 3 years ago) where every week our selection panel regularly baffled us with bizarre choices.

Yeah, I remember those times MTTM!

Maybe they've stacked us with smalls forward of centre because it's going to be wet???

Correct. They'll still leave it til the last minute though and I notice Goldy and Wills are emergencies.

Yep, can't place enough value on his courage and fighting heart!!! Smile

And IF it is a wet night as some are suggesting, he NEEDS to be a late in.

Yeah this could get ugly if the forecast heavy rain eventuates.

BUT, who is 2nd ruck to give Grundy a chop-out, when Reid is also out?

I remember those times; knowing the game was already lost at selection a day or two the ball was even bounced. Can't believe they have returned so soon.

This better be some cloak&dagger/smoke&mirrors type bullshit going on here.

If not, never mind; I will let you all know my thoughts on Buckley in the post-match. Please wear riot gear if this selection ineptitude effectively ends our season.

It’s the Herald-Richmond and The Richmond-Age newspapers today, and it’ll be Richmond TV tonight with Richmond supporters doing the commentary. When the whole world is against us, I back us to win.

Just makes it a much sweeter victory when we pump the tigers into the night as we have the last two times on the big stage when it's counted.

Let's see them handle our pressure game.

Go Pies!

Looking pretty wet, might be in our favour. Two weeks on the road though...

I don't know that much about the other teams, are we up against a better side tonight than we faced in Rd. 2? Not directing this specifically at swoop btw.

I don’t think it’s about personal so much. I think it’s about the game plan.
Last time we played them, for reasons only known to Hardwick, they sat off us and guarded space. We then rewrote the history books with various possession statistics.
If Hardwick does that again, they should sack him on the spot.
It will be a different game tonight. They will be in our faces.
I have stoppages as the most important stat tonight. Win the stoppages reasonably well and we will get enough looks at a winning score ( assuming we kick ok )

Because we have too many blokes out. Twelve injured and two suspended.

We might win it but it's highly unlikely. If we can get within 5 goals we'll be doing well.

I'm one to usually be pessimistic about our prospects, but I have a feeling we're going to turn up tonight and beat them.

Our recent record against them is promising and the weather forecast suggests it will be a slippery night which might benefit the small forwards.

I could be delusional, but I'm feeling reasonably excited about our chances. Just a gut feeling we're going to prove a lot of our critics wrong and everyone is on the Richmond hype at the moment so the pressure on them will be immense.

Always been a glass half full kind of fella!

We'll beat the Tigers tonight and we'll do it by 4 or more goals...

Then how do you explain the time before that? We have beaten them convincingly twice!
