If we lose to Richmond, let's sack Buckley and get him back! Laughing

Let's offer him the role of assistant coach for opposition analysis.

Yeah right Mick. Can really see you being a humble number 2 at a club Smile

Won't have to sack Buckley. He may walk. There's a fistful of coaching jobs on offer at the moment and he could walk into any of them at his price. Buckley's manager would be derelict in his duties if he wasn't sniffing the air at other clubs.

Couldn't say I'd blame him after the serial betrayals he's faced by elements of the playing group (eg. Harry, Beams, Jolly, Heater, Thomas, Keefe, Stephenson etc) and the club (recruiting dead weight Beams behind his back).

F#ck I'd laugh if he snaffled the St.Rapsit job.

Or the Carlton job. Oh, wait...

He'll go to Hawthorn when Clarkson (his house over here is completed) goes to Fremantle, Lyon to Carlton and Ratten stays at the aints.

It’d be awkward if Mick coaches the Saints, and Milne visits for an anniversary. Wink

Wouldn’t think his very limited chances improved any further after Mitch Robinson and Marc Murphy worked very hard at playing “ read between the lines “ in their recent interviews.
Nearly ten years ago, Eddie saw the writing on the wall.
Like opened milk in a faulty fridge, Micks use by date had come around very quickly.
