You should have started at the top of the page... old news.

They're probably giggling in the Richmond rooms at the news.

That's our big hope, they think they've won before the ball is bounced. I'm sending a famous victory trendsetters.

Replacing Adams with Crocker is hard to fathom.

I would have thought a wet slog of a game would have suited Wills to a tee. Especially after already losing Sier, we need some strength around the contest.

My heart says we'll still win, but phuck me, on paper our side looks pretty shite! Confused

If we win tonight with this side, then Bucks should be immediately granted a 10 yr contract extension.

ATTA GIRL !! Chivas Regal or Jimmy Beam ???? That reminds me, if thnigs get too bad tonight ive got in reserve a bottle of Stones Green Ginger wine, any port in a storm, hey !! Shocked Cool

Geez, do they still make that stuff? Used to take a bottle to the footy every week, when we had to stand in the outer in the cold and rain at Vic Park. Kept the insides warm at least!!!

Surely, if Adams is out, they will bring in Wills??? Bringing in Crocker defies all logic!!!

Went from $2.20 out to $2.35 at the late change.

Nothing absolutely confirmed yet, but the AFL website is saying that it "understands that Collingwood is set to pull a late change with Taylor Adams out", and Crocker was pulled from the VFL reserves to be "on standby" along with the other emergencies. If this is true (and it pretty much has to be if it is on the AFL website) wtf would we not replace Tay with Wills?? If we replace him with Crocker I think we can safely declare that not only are we certainly not going to be contenders this year, but we might well be heading for the depths of darkness that engulfed us 3 or 4 years ago, characterised above all else by selection insanity.

...unless our plan is, by selecting Crocker for Adams, to win the game because Richmond cannot win any contests, because they are so overcome with laughter at our absurd selection decisions.

Spot on post MTTM.

Adams supposedly out with a hamstring.
That should crank a few right up.
No good bitching about the replacements. Trust me, they still offer more than playing one or two short.

Still, why not go for the best replacement? If we get the wrong replacement, then that probably won't be better than playing one man short

Yeah, bewildering late change. Two midfielders (Sier, Adams) and two defenders (Aish, Appleby) out, one defender (Scharenberg), one midfielder (Thomas) and two forwards (Daicos, Elliott) in – after a game in which we were smashed in the midfield and defence. Can anyone explain how that works?

Guess the extra forward is part of the plan to kick more goals!

Is rain predicted?
I’m settled for the night down at Werribee & it’s dry as here.

If you’re referring to Wills, maybe he’s not available either. Up until half an hour ago, we all thought Adams was playing too.
There will be a plan for Crocker’s selection. Let it unfold before we all condemn him.

I like that plan...but guess what we forgot...we have two fewer mids to get the ball to the goalkickers.

I am really, really angry right now. Hopefully it rains really hard, because that will keep it close(r) and by some miracle might allow us to steal it.

Maybe it's a good thing that I'm heading down to Geelong to play a blues gig tonight, and will miss the game?

In the words of Han Solo...."I've got a bad feeling about this"!

Nevertheless, Pies in a thriller! Twisted Evil
