They can’t finish higher than 7th or lower than 8th, and can’t manipulate who they play cos it’s the first game of the final round. So they’ll likely play with the shackles off which is not ideal, as ALL the pressure will be on us.
Do we play Moore? Do we risk him, with another two week break an option, with top 4 highly unlikely? Probably need to play him, otherwise we enter week one with Stephenson, Moore (and hopefully JDG) with 2-4 months off, which is why the double chance is so important. Other than a home prelim, it gives us a week to gel the injured back into the line up. An elimination final is a crapshoot with so many underdone players.
Ah well, we could always take the AFL to court for the Freo game. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Lions are a very big chance to beat tigers.
Win and we're in I reckon. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

With GWS playing the Gold Coast in the final round and all but assured a win Essendon don't have a lot of incentive to play for against us in terms of ladder position as it'll be either a trip interstate to play GWS should they win or a likely rematch against us at the MCG if they lose.
Potentially they could lose and face West Coast interstate or Richmond at the MCG also. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

It'll be a preview of the elimination final.
We have little to play for now, as Richmond and WCE are very likely to win their games leaving us at 5th. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

If Moore doesn't play, he won't play again this season. Just like last year. _________________ Get back on top. |

So who's likely to be available from; JDG, Moore, Aish, IQ, Wells??? Is Reid any chance, or Sier?? _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

According to Buckley, Moore is the closest ( and probably the only one ) against the Bombers |

Could be a elimination final preview.
However, I don't understand why Richmond are "very likely" to win next week when they're playing the top team after all. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

I guess people are relying on home-ground advantage (and distrustful of Brissy). |

Just checking a really odd set of numbers from the Dockers / bombers game.
The dockers won nearly every key possession stat from that game except the one that matters the most, disposal efficiency.
The dockers got so much more of the footy but butchered it much more often than not.
If we’re allowed as much of the ball as Freo were afforded by the Bombers, we will beat them comfortably.
Oh and Grundy may yet rewrite the record books against Clarke this week. |

Pies have got the mojo back, but lets not have too high expectation.
Pies will get one goal better than last round: to smash Drug cheats by 12 goals. |
