Madgen is the name being thrown around the most.

Nobel had 21 touches and JT kicked 3 goals which is enough to stay in the side. Wills also did enough with 20 disposals and 6 tackles. Scharenberg had the lowest player rating but performed a shutdown role against Adelaide.

It seems the logical choice right now is Moore in for Madgen.

Having watched most of the replay, I’d honestly be stunned if Madgen was dropped after that performance, particularly as the only out. He was excellent against the Crows, even if he didn’t have a lot to do in the second half. Noble is on far shakier ground, imo (most of those disposals weren’t to clear advantage, and even the ones that reached their target often made his teammate work harder than they should have); surely Moore in for Noble is conceivable.

Moore is a natural defender, but given he has played as a forward before I agree with you, Uncle Jack, his sure hands would make our forward line stretch any of Richmond, Geelong or West cost. He is a pretty reliable kick. There may be also less chances for his hamstring to go again. Playing as a forward its him that decides where to head and does not need to change direction at an instant as often.

^ Wish it were true, but reckon there’s at best somewhere between a 0 and 5% chance of it happening, and that’s probably being generous. The fact he couldn’t get a run against Gold Coast or Melbourne when we were desperately short on defenders suggests that there’s going to be little chance of him being named in a must-win final round match, particularly if Moore is back in the side.

I like it, but does Moore ruck as well?

Wow. This doesn't sound promising:

Stupid lightweight journos didn't understand the suspension.
Good luck to Stevo this weekend.

We were 9-1 with him playing and kicking a goal this year (loss to Freo)

He would have served his 10 match suspension after Friday night's game.
Interesting scheduling from the AFL. If the match against the Bombers was Saturday then he wouldn't be eligible to play VFL.

Great news for Stevo!

Would be nice but too much at stake I'm afraid. Roghhead farewell game was against GC and I doubt they'll pick him for the big one this weekend.
