**** off Melbourne! Collingwood put the hard work and support into Billy over the years, and now he's finally come good... Dees want to get him. And we're two weeks from a GF, really shit (deliberate) timing. We want our players 101% focused on winning the flag in two weeks, no distractions. Seriously, they couldn't wait a couple of weeks?

A lot depends how much the fuchsias offer. What if it's a fortune with a lengthy contract? I don't want him to leave at all but if you were in his shoes and you were offered millions and years on a contract then it might be an offer too good to refuse.

Yep he might only get another year at Collingwood. If Melbourne offers him a 3+ deal at decent coin (and they have the money to splurge), I wouldn't begrudge him.
I just hate the timing. |

Apparently we are offering 2 years to Billy. Melbourne also offering 2 years on more money. Hopefully a little bit more coin will make no difference and he stays.

Yep, Petracca would be the only swap I would consider. Maybe Max Gawn to back up Grundy. |
