I don't follow it enough to have a proper opinion on the state of play and how individual teams are performing.
Personally, I hope Atletico Madrid go all the way and blow apart the Barca-Madrid duopoly.

I wrote B is "on the move", but it's probably more accurate to say that AM have gotten the staggers. Their last 5 or 6 matches have been very poor. |

^ Yep that's right. I remember speaking to several Chelsea supporting mates who told me we were lucky to play Atletico Madrid in the Champions League knockouts while they were going through a slump.
Play them a month or two earlier, they probably beat us comfortably.

Atletico Madrid's lead is now down to 4 points.
To some commentators, they look like they are now just trying to hang on. But 11 games is a long time to hang on!
And they have an away game against Barca among those. You could say it's a "6-point" game. But Barca may be clearly ahead by the time that game comes. |
