Not suited to our type of game plan. i.e. Put it up high and hope for a grab. He'll end up with permanent brain damage out our club.
Having said that, there seems to a long list of key forwards that are on the move at the end of this season. If we none of them end up on our list, then I would then have a good look at him. |

I would prefer to chase "Two Meter Peter" Wright from Gold Coast as a good replacement of Ben Reid. _________________ Collingwood Domination. Envy of the Nation! |

Would he be a De-Listed Free Agent or Have to Draft Him? _________________ I am Da Man |

I wish there was a option called *LAST RESORT*, but I voted no because of unknown list sizes next year, and the amount of players I would rather have than him _________________ "That was out-of-bounds" |

I said yes, on the assumption that we could pre-list him as a delisted free agent and that he passed all the tests.
Other options to consder are Schacke at the Dogs who is out of favour and 2 metre peter.
At our best we don't need a tall gun KP forward, someone who does what Cox does and a spread works fine. Any of those 3 could be options. Hey, we took a premiership ruckman from the Dogs almost as a gift and turned him into a gun full back....... _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Rookie draft I think? But other clubs are interested too, which makes DTM's question very relevant.
Im undecided.
Lets see.... He was the #1 pick, so must have been a great junior level player. But did he show anything in the 35 games he played between 2015-19?
Its been reported that Sydney, Geelong, Essendon and Collingwood have reached out to the ex-Saints forward, with the Swans being the front-runner. It's also been reported that he is in the best shape of his life and his concussion issues have been put behind him. Do the Saints have any interest to bring him back?
Is he worth the risk? Because he is bound to cop some more heavy hits. Will he be able to stand up to that?
Yes we are desperate to find a FF. And his age is perfect. But is he our "Plan A"?

I’d prefer to have no part in more damage to that poor lad’s head. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

No way should he be Plan A, but there's a number of good talls in this years draft and a few others up for grabs. Time to stock up.
Midfielders go for $4 per kg unless they're very good, KPP's go for $7, with the really good over $10. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I'd grab him with our last draft pick in the draft, not the rookie draft.
imo we need to grab two talls that can play forward
i.e. 2mPeter, Brown or McCartin
McCartin is the cheapest, but he also has a lot of potential upside if he can remain fit - obviously we don't want to risk his health so we'd need to test him thoroughly.
We need to take some chances to get the results we desire. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

I’d take him quick smart. He’s older, smarter knows how to look after his diabetes (he’s matured). He’s highly talented. Just as long as he’s coachable. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

I agree.
He has reportedly had 8 concussions since 2014. Even if he is not currently suffering any symptoms and has been given the all clear to play, he is, like any other player, at risk of being knocked out playing footy.
You have to worry about the impact of any further concussions to his long term brain health.
A study published in The Lancet in April 2018 was one of the largest of its kind to look at the link between dementia risk and traumatic brain injury (TBI). A TBI is defined as any head injury that disrupts brain function brain, with leading examples including motor vehicle accidents, assaults, and falls. A concussion is classified as a mild TBI.
Their analysis of health records available for 2.8 million people aged over 36 years, revealed that individuals who had a TBI in their 20s were at a 63% greater risk of developing dementia over the next thirty years, compared with people who had no such injury.
