| Post subject: The 2021 Rendell-isms |  |

So it's that time of the year where Matt Rendell gets 3 weeks off the demolition site (yes this is his post footy job) and we hear his wild assertions, supposed expert analysis of list management and cop an earful of simply awful Buckenara Herald Sun article esque judgement of football players. After 4 days of Trade Radio, this is the running list so far:
1. Max Gawn should give up the captaincy to Christian Petracca
2. Josh Mahoney (he may have meant Jack) should be the small forward crumber for the Roos in 2022
3. Darcy Moore should play forward NOT back
4. Dale Tapping chose the St Kilda FC over coming back to The Pies (Was Dons)
5. Suggested Collingwood's small forward crumbing woes should be fixed with Taylor Adams. Said so with unflinching conviction
6. "It's much harder to lose weight that put it on"! Dala Lama insights!
7. Grab Lochie O'Brien as a FREE AGENT (Matty, he is 22 with 4 years in the system) not the Pre-season draft
8. Repeatedly calls him KoloDASHNI vs KoloJASHNIJ (Phonetically speaking)
9. Rated Austin Bradke (Delisted Cat B Rookie Monday) ahead of the King brothers in their draft year!
What's that quote in the Billy Madison movie about "being dumber for having listened to ........."!

Total flog, should never have hired him after the Kkkrows sacked him. Said a lot more dumb things this year, clearly had an axe to grind. Saying Ned Guy didn’t watch much footy springs to mind. Can’t be bothered recalling the rest

I actually listened to him today for the first time ever…..
I lost count how many times the co-host (no idea who it was) had to correct him on some player facts!
It was actually quite embarrassing!!

That is a very impressive list. I will happily add to it if i observe further idiocies from this guy's mouth.
I am no fan of Ned Guy, but what Rendell said about him was just so bitter and inappropriate.
Whenever I hear r positive comments from Rendell about Collingwood, I brace myself. I would prefer that he said collingwood was heading for decades of oblivion than we will make a quick rebound. His opinion is worse less than nothing. Just like now we are entering a period of negative interest rates. So Rendell will have to pay the media to publish his comments very soon.

One other to add - Darcey Moore to play ruck. The bloke is coming off a PCL.
Unfortunately I wont be able to add much more to it going forward. I refuse to open any link with his name in the headline or read further if his name appears in the article.
He currently is the biggest Flog in footy. That in itself is an achievement.

He actually said Moore should play ruck and would win the Brownlow if he played that position. |
