Just wondering how much stock we should put in the emergencies. Given they almost never are required, it could be used as an internal 'reward' for effort, without it necessarily meaning they are the next cab off the rank.

Happy to be set straight - but my point is its an inconsequential statement to make.

Interesting point, particularly with Covid protocols in place. A couple years ago, plenty of clubs used it as a recognition of training standards rather than the likelihood of a fourth emergency ever getting a late call up.
However, my guess would be that all clubs would need to now pick the next best as emergencies, in case a couple in the best 22 tested positive on the morning of the game ( and even more applicable if you’re playing interstate )
What we can safely say is that there is a reason Harrison was named as an emergency and even more importantly, it will be a positive reason.
If you look at this weeks emergencies, they cover all parts of the ground. Ruck and tall forward, midfield, “ tall “ defender and Harrison as the small ground level forward. The balance is right, it’s just that some of the names may surprise.

Harvey maybe playing for his 2024 list spot on debut. Harsh but unlikely to get many chances. Wish him well.

I know it's only a brief clip, but the club environment just looks fantastic here.

Everyone's happy and thriving. Hopefully Harvey has a strong debut.

IS Harvey Harrison any relation too the late great, Barry Hooker Harrison, who drove Ron Barassi nuts in the biggest upset in League history, the immortal 1958 Grand Fiinal ?

. He is only 19 years old, I think he’s very safe for next year.

He looked ok, especially in the first half. Nowhere near our worst.
