I listened to this yesterday from the 53 minute mark to the end. Worth taking the time.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjTsO6B3rD5AhVCS2wGHXviBaIQFnoECCcQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.magpies.net%2Fnick%2Fbb%2Fviewtopic.php%3Fp%3D2109065&usg=AOvVaw1BudlWwlTw8mPeHxgyaC79

That was truly remarkable, especially part B. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. A great story of courage, resilience and understanding. It also explained, incidentally, why Mason went from being a potentially epochal player in 2018 to someone who seemed clueless by 2020. He could mot see the ball. Extraordinary.

^ Yep, Mason's story is an exceptional one in courage and determination. When he was being rubbished and ridiculed by so called supporters for his poor "form", I recall trying to explain that he couldn't see properly, but of course, that fact just went straight on past those who were intent on venting their frustrations on him. 😠
So pleased for him that he has triggered the clause in his contract ensuring he will be on the list for next season 👍

Howie is actually a really good interviewer. He has a knack of making people comfortable and often they reveal more than they thought they would.

I don't do Podcasts but I might make an exception for this one.

I agree on Howie, but He is background noise to the remarkable story told by Mason.

I don’t dislike Howie, but to those saying they wouldn’t listen to a podcast about a Pies player who has a great story because of who the interviewer is then you’re being a bit petty IMO.

Ive always believed in Mason Cox and his abilities. He never gives up on the paddock. Really glad he has his vision issues sorted. It was gutting watching him go for a mark and grab the air.

I like Howie in the Big bash hes great caller of the bbl cricket love him.

Not too sure in the afl not quite there yet a commentator.

He is a good interviewer though makes people comfy.

But to me he is more a cricket caller then the footy.
