Brilliance from the Collingwood administration and the Daicos boys. We need to seal this great progress with a flag this season. That will be the ultimate.

Great pro-active list management decision-making, that reduces 20km of column inch rumours from the usual media used car salesmen types like Ralph, Slobbo, Browne etc.. over the next 7 years.

Excellent move. Every Collingwood fan should be happy about this outcome.

Agree inxs88 you are right.

Same goes to the other players.

Good time to get these important deals done so that we and the players can fous on the job at hand in which is winning the premiership.

Good that they are getting them done efficiently as well.

Great work from CFC.

Keep it up.

Media hacks will continue to do what media hacks do. Collingwood news will still be selling papers and getting high ratings. It will be along the lines of “will the Daicos boys leave to get 3 million a season at ——————————?” The loyalty to and the love for the Collingwood Football Club” will keep them at Collingwood, not the ceasing of the anti Collingwood drivel from hack journos. It’s like trying to stop a toddler from grabbing everything they see that’s not tied down! Mission Impossible.

History tells us both will see a massive drop off in performance after signing long term deals.

We need each Daicos boy to have a performance bonus:

* Nick and Josh need to have two sons (minimum) each
* Their four sons have two sons each (minimum)
* Their eight sons have two sons each (minimum)

Not too much to ask??

I saw their media conference this afternoon. What charming, polite, well spoken young men they both are. They are great ambassadors for the club, and a credit to their parents.

Such a class act and family. This will inspire the other team members.

So differently handled than the Cloke saga ahead of a premiership tilt that definitely impacted the team and Cloke’s performance.

The Daicos’ could have easily held out for season end, particularly Nick being a Brownlow favourite.

This indicates to me they have the club and premiership ahead greed. They’ll still get paid super well, hopefully also rewarded with flags.
