Ginni maybe loved by everyone but I can’t have him and Hill in the same team. I’ll go further and predict Ginni won’t be wearing black and white next year. The umpiring fraternity and media have crucifiee him. He needs a change of club. Personally I’d get a lawyer and sue the AFL and Umpires as Sellwood did the same thing for a decade.

First time this season we've elected to go with just the one ruck option with both Cameron and Cox available.

I like how Fly's got his way to a degree by naming the Sub up front rather than having to wait to bring someone in from the outs.

While Johnson is obviously more nimble than a 7ft Cox with Hill replacing Markov in the 22 and Markov knocking out WHE as sub speed wise it's a pretty similar across the 23. With Hill coming in for Markov we have however sacrificed speed coming out of our back half in preference for more up forward.

I actually think the bigger story is that we have placed more importance on the inside game of say an Adams/Mitchell and production levels of Lipinski ahead of the speed and running power of WHE and to a lesser extent Markov.

Time will tell I guess whether we stick to that philosophy as well as the one ruck setup.

Only going with one genuine ruckman is the real story of selection.
Having said that, Hawks have done the same.
Just on the Hawks, keep an eye out for their 197cm, 95 kg Irish midfielder, Conor Nash. Easily the biggest mid field bull in the comp. He’s an impressive unit.

It's a danger game. Hawthorn is much better than their ladder position suggests. And over the years they have been a bogey side. We have to come out blazing for at least 3 quarters to win this one.
