Suns will show a bit early on but the Pies to bring it home towards the end and win it by 14 points.

Be good to have Livingtone back after some weeks off adds some solid backline and Erica Fowler to take up the ruck duties left from the injured Imogen Barnett.

^90 - Livingstone has played both games so far! And has been a little off this season. I feel age is finally catching up with her - especially when she's trying to keep up with all those young talls. Please before you post do some research or at least watch a game. Both have been televised!
And just for you, Brazil has also played both games, McCann also, Fredericks as well, J. Allen also, and T. Brown too!

Collingwood's woeful goal kicking lost them a winnable game. Just disgraceful! We are struggling against tall sides.

Final score: Gold Coast 5.3.33 defeated Pies 2.9.21

Goals: Davey, Brazill

Best: Rowe, Bonnici, Allen, White, Sheridan

Top disposals: Bonnici 19, Rowe 18, Davey 16 (despite a hard tag/scrag for most fo the game)

AF points: Bonnici 91, White 79, Davey 76, Rowe 75

Match report:

https://www.afl.com.au/aflw/news/1034378/match-report-collingwood-magpies-v-gold-coast-suns

Pies didn't make enough of their forward entries and kicks for goal especially at the Yarra Falls end were drifting to the left.

Suns were taller and more athletic than the Pies.
Pies stayed in the game due to their contested ball work but the Suns always looked in better positions and able to read the ball. Suns overhead marking was also much better.

At one stage it looked like the Suns were going to kick away but the Pies toughed it out to make it closer than it could have been.

Defence was under constant pressure, did well to restrict the Suns to 5 goals after last weeks goal fest against West Coast.

Next up, away game against St Kilda.

Sign of things to come will not be a very overly successful aflw this time around.

Needs taller younger players.

We look like the mozzie fleet out there.

Time to reset again see it out and then go hard in the draft.

Kind of a flattening out stage.

The climb is next year.

Finish 12th this time around
