1.1 to 7.6 after half time. Even garbage teams score more than that!
We won’t beat an AFL team playing like this.
A laughing stock less than 6 months after a flag is so Collingwood! _________________ Est. 2002 |

Pendles & Sideass should’ve retired after the GF.
I love them both, but we’re just too long in the tooth, play the youth. _________________ WE WERE ROBBED, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, RIGHT IN FRONT OF MEEE!

^sure did. As I pointed out in the 2024 draft thread, we have 2 years to replace 10 players >30. 2 years because Tassie will raid the draft.
Trouble is, of we're going to get any draft currency, we'll need to move on a Maynard or IQ to get anywhere near the top 10.
There's a big void in the list coming.
Allan, Ryan, DeMattia, Tiath aren't going to fill all of the holes. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

We look a little bit better when we punch it forward going for territory
Need to do that and also go for some brave kicks if we are going to win this. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

McCreery is such a fast running player but her seems to want to cut back inside when he is in free space and gets himself stuck.
Fly needs to have a chat to him about just going forward. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

True, I'd rather go down by 5 than not risk it. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

No doubt, but then how do you get 1st round picks? IQ is a non-negotiable but I reckon Wright is ruthless enough to consider Maynard if the trade currency was attractive enough.
Our over 30's have zero currency. Otherwise it's going to be. Long rebuild. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

Haven't complained about the umps all night but this is criminal now. This is NFL level scripting by the AFL. An absolute disgrace. |

Frees 29-13. Unbelievable bias in umpiring. Many were warranted of course but it’s all one way. _________________ President - Coffs Harbour Collingwood Supporters Assoc. Inc. |
