It was forgone conclusion, but Elliott's mark officially won a nomination for Mark of the Year.

There was Geelong people who actually thought Guthries mark was better. Go ahead and support your team and all, but sheesh.

Had this conversation today. I am in shock that ppl are so biased towards their team, that they think a good mark is better than the best mark taken in 5 years. Purely based on the players jumper.

It was more meaningful in the game and a classic mark they teach kids in school. Rolling Eyes

At least there were non-Collingwood people on my side. But yes, the Krakouer-Walker and Howe-Daniher marks were debated too.
