Are the Crows really that low on talent or is their coach struggling at the level?

That club is a coach-killer. Nicks could hardly have turned down the opportunity, but it's not a great job.

Sydney are getting all the ball in the 2nd quarter but can not convert. Richmond got out of the blocks in the first 7 mins but now look a bit flat. Wetish day bit greesy the ball too. Swans just need to convert more. Theres rain on the way too very soon.

Port beat GWS 63 to 46. Port are now a game and percentage ahead at the top of the ladder. Essendon have 1 win less than Port but a game in hand.

Like to see it but doubt it but sydney to win and keep richmond "down there" and carlton too to prevent the dogs taking our place on the ladder we are currently 5th. Sydney v tigers game is very scrappy slog not pretty at all. It a case who ever converts more will win very scrappy it is. Sydney need to kick 2-3 goals in a row thats all.

Richmond 34-26 Sydney. FT. Sad

Pity the Swans could not find an extra 9 points somewhere.

High scores, eh? Wink

..................................

With their win earlier in the day, Port are once more clear on top.

It’s not just the shortened quarters. Football today is an awful game to watch.

AFL is taken it’s lead from AFLW.

Carlton lead Footscray 8.5.53 to 5.1.32 (I kid you not - that's what the Fox scoreboard says) at halftime.

Carlton lead 10.6 to 6.6.

Looking at the disposals, you'd think Footscray were winning - they really over-use the ball quite badly.

Carlton lead 14 to 7.7 with about 7 minutes to go. They're going to win by a lot.

Final score Carlton 16.7 103, Bulldogs 7.9.51.

I guess the Bulldogs don't take 5th spot from us this week.
