Interesting to see where a few of the lads have ended up;
Flynn Appleby is training with the Roos.
Rupert Wills joined VAFA Premier club Old Scotch. I really thought Essendon would come calling there.
Matt Scharenberg has signed on to play with Olinda-Ferny Creek.
Lynden Dunn has signed on with EDFL division 1 team West Coburg. He will join Ben Johnson and Heath Shaw.
Ben Reid will play for the Wangaratta Magpies.

Pretty disappointing for Shaz to be playing at a level way below his ability.
I would have thought that he would be playing state league level at least.

I don't understand why Shazza didn't go back to Adelaide. He isn't AFL standard because injuries have taken away his leap and some of his pace but he would still be a good player in the SANFL

I don't understand why Shazza didn't go back to Adelaide. He isn't AFL standard because injuries have taken away his leap and some of his pace but he would still be a good player in the SANFL |
I have the impression he has a brain, so there may be a lot more going on in his life than football. |

My brother flayed for Olinda. A really family friendly club then. I took my then 5 year old nephew to the toilet and it was snowing. Me and the vice president got on the rum halfway through the reserves game in front of the open fire and never say another kick and my sister in law had to drive my car home to Montrose.

Was told during the week that Varcoe will be playing for the Footscray VFL side, but have seen nothing official on this.

Ben Crocker is training with Carlton. Thats interesting. Apparently he was close to best on ground in their intra-club hitout with 4 goals.
Will he get another lifeline after a year with the Crows?

Poor Ben hasn't played in a winning AFL match since our 1-point victory over West Coast in Round 17 2019 – nine straight losses since, including all seven games he played with Adelaide. Would be nice to see him get another lifeline.

Wouldn't surprise me considering he's already joined the Bulldogs coaching staff.
