Another home game at Vic Park and match of the round for the Pies.

This will be a big test as the Bulldogs are also playing well (4 wins in a row) and have a potent midfield & forward line.

Jordan Membrey will be a loss and Chloe Molloy (shoulder) & Jaimee Lambert (upper leg/quad) looked a bit bruised after the game last week.

Sunday 7 March @ 2.40pm (AEDT) at Victoria Park.

Tickets on sale via now Ticketek.
(no problems getting tickets this week, got sent an extra barcode to use to make up for the shermozzle last week. Thanks CFC).

That Brown girl is building nicely into an important part of the team

I’m impressed with her kicking and maybe have an end to end kick with her brothers in the back yard to teach them how it’s done

Like the Cloke brothers, the youngest Brown is the better of the three. That was her best match so far.

Looking forward to that match. The AFL Collingwood team should sign Molloy - - in a hurry.

3. Davey
2. Bonnici
1. Livingstone

Obviously I’m the only one doing this but I don’t care. Credit where credit is due.

Davey is a superstar and Bonnici ain’t that far behind. Molloy is brilliant. The spine of Livingstone, Schleicher, Norder, Alexander (improving) and Molloy is super.

The midfield of Davey, Bonnici and Lambert awesome.

These girls are really developing nicely and for the most part are playing with skill and guts and heart and who could ask for more.

I’m saddened (mildly) that there getting little airtime on Nicks but give it time and a premiership and the dinosaurs will come around.

What a season this is turning out to be.

Hopefully we can get over the line in Brissy.

Just looking at the ladder and remaining fixture, we'll go into finals without having played teams currently placed; 2nd, 10th, 12th and Last (14th). On current form, thats at least three wins.

Freo, currently 2nd, and the favourite to win the whole thing have played 3rd and 4th, and they will play 5th and 6th. But they have played the WCE (12th) twice and the last placed Suns.

In such an even ladder, I can see anyone from North, Adelaide, Brisbane, Freo and Collingwood winning it. Home finals will be an advantage.

Finishing top 2, and avoiding elimination finals would be great.

With three games left, the game against the Lions is massive. A loss could see us fall to 4th, but a win sees us remain on top and 2 wins in front of 4th. A loss by Freo and Adelaide this round would be handy.

After the Lions, we'll play the Saints (9th) and Adelaide (4th) to end the normal season.

Sunday afternoon is going to be big. And we'll know how our top 2 chances will be looking.
