Even if we did want to do this, nobody wants to go play up there if they are serious about football.

Given the development of Darcy Cameron and form of Max Lynch as a back-up ruckman, Mason Cox looks to be redundant at Collingwood so I think it would be great if he and Josh Thomas could be packaged up to get the Sun's first round pick. I'm probably "dreaming" to get that deal done but as noted above Collingwood has to trade players in this year rather than draft picks as any picks will most likely just get burnt on picking Nick Daicos.
Hence we need to somehow trade players for players that are able to help our cause in 2022.

Currently our picks are 36, 41, 44, 45
which equals 1623 POINTS
We need the following points to get Daicos
After
Discount
Pick No1 2400
Pick No2 2014
Pick No3 1788
Pick No4 1627

So we either trade for points [need early second rounder]
or use 2022 points to get him
What a mess
Its either delisted players or free agents for us

Give up Grundy
And pay some of his contract

How little of his contract can we realistically get away with paying?

We're already paying Treloar $300k a year.

If we the also pay Grundy $300k a year, that's already paying $600k for players to play for other clubs. Don't know if that's helping the salary cap...

Two words to get that sympathy for St. Kilda right out of you Piesnchess - John Greening.
