Woke has got my vote for the most overused word of 2021. Sick to death of hearing it and it's only June

Just tell me one thing
How is this money going to Give us a flag.
It is a distraction.
Maybe the money should go to Managatang reserves.
Well it is a footy club.
As for the word Woke.
Close to the word Wanker.
Same thing.

Collingwood’s wish to gain $15 million in state government funding has created a thorny issue for both the current board and presidential challenger Jeff Browne: the need to have three women on the club board to satisfy a government diversity requirement...

Jeff Browne needs to declare he now identifies as a woman. Problem solved.

It’s not. Flags are not given, they are earned through blood, sweat and tears

Now tell me one thing: How is this money going to lose us a flag?

As the saying goes, money can’t buy happiness (or flags, not since the 90s anyway) - but it’s more comfortable to cry in the back seat of a Mercedes than on a bicycle

It is a distraction full stop.
Collingwood needs to laser focus on the job at hand.

We are like the American Military
The biggest and best ....won every battle but lost every war since WW2.
Lost in the strategy of each war.
Same with this....pointless exercise to us.
Incredibly useful overall so let the AFL run it
We are a Club with fingers in every pie.
Like with our netball club...not relevant.

According to the heraldsun we made another 1.8M loss last year so we need every dollar of that $15Mil.

Her appointment needs to be ratified at the AGM.

Did you see the puff piece in the Guardian? Barely mentioned the Club, bubblegum board member, surely we can do better than this?

But but but, didn't Eddie save us from financial destitution? Surely this didn't happen under his watch?

Yes, he did

We’re not destitute. You know there was a pandemic-shortened season last year, right?

So you’re against the EGM, right? And you didn’t want the coach sacked? Those are massive distraction

Being gifted $15m is literally the least of our worries

We’re not winning a flag or even playing finals this year either way
