Amended ladder positions

Does anyone have any information as to how the VFL plan to sort out the imbalance of games played to date ?
We’re getting closer to finals and there are a number of options still available in establishing a fair ladder order.
I’m guessing the obvious outcome would be to formulate every clubs winning ratio against total games played and there’s your ladder order at the end of the home and aways.
Any feedback is much appreciated

And if they do have a finals series, the other interesting amendment will be player qualifications for finals.
There’s a lot of combinations and permutations to work through in a number of areas.

From the VFL website:

"The AFL remains committed to completing the VFL competition with all clubs playing 12 home-and-away games before the finals start on the weekend of August 28 under the usual top eight system, with the Grand Final scheduled for Sunday, September 19, at Marvel Stadium."
