I was checking emails after breakfast just about to start pulling stuff apart to connect to the NBN when the house started shaking.

Then the Teams Chat started pinging with colleagues going WTF just happened.

i thought the dog was scratching his nose on my chair, then it happened again and i saw the walls move, then the eldest screamed mum, junior grabbed the dog that i realised wasnt scrathing my chair, i checked both kids and we went outside, the pool water was sloshing in all directions! i still cant believe i didnt grab my cameras!

That's exactly what mum thought with the last one that it was the dog rubbing against the bed.

Felt it at work, was weird could feel it but no one seemed to be reacting, then saw folders on the desk shaking.

Then after it finished my colleagues was talking about it, turns out they had noticed it after all!

I take it from the fact that one image of building damage is repeated across the news that everyone and everything is pretty much okay?

It's definitely a freaky sensation.

Once we were in Okinawa and a 5.9 scared bejeebus out of us. It felt like a freight train hit the hotel! To make things worse I was in a state of delirium with what was probably the swine flu, stuck between needing to go to the hospital and being too sick to get up. A great trip apart from that Laughing

Facebook has a few people close to the epicentre showing cracks in their walks, and some cool camera vision, but yes, it looks that way! 1 person injured

The photos of Betty's Burgers, the place in Sth Yarra where the bricks fell down, suggests a dodgy restoration of a heritage facade building.

I haven't seen any reports of other property damage.

It freaked my Mum out, she was asleep and heard the noise before the house started shaking, she was out of whack all day. I'd forgotten about it by 10am.

Yes, that pretty much sums it up.
