The Cowboys have just contracted Prescott for 4 years at $166 Million, including $126 Million guaranteed (and the first part of that is a $66 Million sign-on bonus).

It's fair to say they rate him more highly than I do.

Brady and Cam Newton will continue on under centre at the Bucs and the Pats, respectively: https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2021/mar/12/tom-brady-contract-extension-cam-newton
There are hints that the Pats are thinking of acquiring a couple of receivers (aside from the magnificent Julian Edelman), so Newton has a couple of players he can throw the ball to, at least sometimes. No doubt Bill knows what he's doing - he's the best sporting strategist of the 21st century, so we'll see how the Pats line up after spending a year adjusting to "not Brady". |

Guess I'm going to have to admit that Brady is the GOAT, hurts typing that. Brady and the Buccaneers are a definite threat to win it all again next season.
As for the Patriots resigning Newton on a $14 million deal I just don't get it. Last year he ran the ball almost as much as he threw it because he could barely throw the ball, finding more receivers won't matter if he still can't thow the ball.

Newton sucks these days
Brady is the GOAT, as much as I hate saying it.
As a Colts fan, we are stuck in purgatory. No quarterback, but too talented to bottom out. Until then we will keep signing the likes of Rivers, Wentz etc |

https://www.espn.com.au/nfl/story/_/id/31244437/source-julian-edelman-expected-retire-ending-12-year-career-new-england-patriots
Quote: | Patriots star receiver Julian Edelman, who helped New England win three championships and was the MVP of Super Bowl LIII, is expected to retire, a source told ESPN.
....
Edelman, who turns 35 next month, was limited to six games last season because of a chronic knee injury. He spent his entire 12-year career with the Patriots and ranks second in NFL history with 118 postseason receptions, behind only Jerry Rice's 151.
One of Edelman's signature plays was an improbable diving catch in Super Bowl LI, helping the Patriots overcome a 28-3 second-half deficit to rally past the Atlanta Falcons. Two years later in a victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII, he was named MVP after totaling 10 receptions for 141 yards. |
Farewell, it seems, to one of the best-prepared, most "clutch" players of all time. The number of times I have thought "IF only the Packers had Edelman ...." |

Oh, no - here we go:
https://www.espn.com.au/nfl/story/_/id/31359453/aaron-rodgers-want-return-green-bay-packers-sources-say
Quote: | Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told ESPN on Thursday.
The Packers are aware of his feelings, concerned about them and have had team president Mark Murphy, general manager Brian Gutekunst and head coach Matt LaFleur each fly out on separate trips to meet with Rodgers at various points this offseason, sources told ESPN. |

Surprised it took him this long, to be honest. GB hierarchy have thrown away potential Superbowl chances with how they've refused to provide him with a decent supporting cast. The one year they did they won the whole bloody thing. _________________ A Collingwood supporter since the egg was inseminated. |

A bunch of stars. Amongst my favourites: the magnificent Charles Woodson, Peyton Manning (of course), Troy Polamalu, the legendary Drew Pearson (how did it take this long?), Coach (Bill Cowher), Donnie Shell and Jimmy Johnson.
Best moment of all:
Quote: | Barack Obama, the highest-profile Bears fan, said during the 2010 season he would not attend Super Bowl XLV unless the Bears defeated the Packers in the NFC Championship Game. Woodson said: "Guess what, we'll go see him.'' And the Packers did, as Super Bowl champs, in the months that followed their win over the Steelers in the title game. |
Wow, how time flies - blink and they're gone. |

Just when you think you've seen everything, Prescott spikes the ball to end the game when needing a TD to tie. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

The Pack really needs to get a new Special Teams roster and coach - the present incumbents are an embarrassing rabble. How a team that has played off in the NFC Championship game 2 years in a row (and is looking to make it 3 today) could put up with this rubbish week and week out is beyond any sane observer. |
