Roughead was ordinary first up when he came back. Reckon a run in the Magoos first might be wise.

^ that he was, but it's a game where experience will matter, if he's available and likely to be underdone for match fitness, 50-75% game time might be just the ticket. If we go with a 'tall', he's certainly ahead of Cox and McMahon.

He also give us an option to go to either end of the ground and pinch hit in the ruck.

All going well, it'll give Fly more options should we need to change the flow of the match.
e.g. throw Murphy forward.
In any event, the experience of a Roughead / Moore combo is better for all concerned, against the Blues, go with the known / known.

Absolutely fizzing at the bunghole in anticipation for this match. My fondest memories watching footy live have been the Carlton / Collingwood matches.

Did you see the Scum fans going absolutely feral against the swans on friday night? What a pack of bloody animals, first sign of success in decades and they are out there giving it the big one, carrying on like they own the joint, effing wankers

See that big Mason has been cleared of major finger damage and could be available for the clash with Scumbags

Who would come out to give him a game —or will they go with Cameron/Brown as their tap rucks

Then there’s speculation here on Roughead

The decision makers have important things to mull over

Talk bout getting ahead of themselves, on tele last night and today on radio, the Bluescum are being bandied around as the only team that can beat the Deeees, or at least match up them. Havent they been rather lucky to win at least three close games, just fell in ? Look, they have improved, but bloody hell, bit early to say crap like that. Id love to beat em, put em right back in their putrid box. I was a young teen when they broke my heart in 1970 GF, then in 79 GF, when tubby Harmes was buying a hot dog off a kid in the stand, before palming back that ball, then the disaster of 1981 another robbed flag. Oh and the centenery game, and the 125 yr game, both losses. Be great to beat them, show them up for the pretenders they truly are, We wont make Finals our selves this season, i doubt it, so this is our Grand Final, and play it as such, with utter total determination, and get over the line.

^Sad times.

It was a long time ago, but I just think of playing them in Bucks' 200th game.

It was a complete demolition. I remember telling my kids at the time that they might not ever see another such thrashing of them.

The look of anguish on their supporters faces and the sound of despair in their voices is something I will always remember. It was a great day.

^ Adams was not reported. A Docker was sent direct to the Tribunal for a chicken-wing tackle on Ginnivan.

Given that Carlton are seemingly content to use Silvagni/Cripps as their relief ruck option it provides us with a unique opportunity to retain T.Brown in that role for at least another week.

If Cox is fit to play it will be an interesting selection decision, if he isn't I wouldn't include Begg in the 22.

Why do people keep putting Roughead in their ins?

He's still listed as being 2 weeks away according to the AFL website.

It sounds like Cox might be available after all. I thought he did well in the ruck in the 1st quarter against the Dockers.

If available, then he should retain his spot. Obviously Henry will play, so we need someone to go out of the starting line-up to become the injury-sub. Despite playing a reasonable game, I'd give that job to Tyler Brown. Alternatively, McCreery could be the sub, but I think he is a valuable part of our forward set-up, and we need to start building some continuity of personnel, particularly in our forward line.

Pies by 18 points!

They repeatedly fall off the wagon after halftime this season. We just got to be close enough at the long break.
