Ha ha ha gold! I'll pay it just to see their faces when they realise their error
Can we ask them how much it would cost to throw in a single point as well? Just one?

Post subject: Nicks Bulletin Board Player Sponsorship ~ 2023 | |
|
In years gone by, Nicks 'MargOz' was the impetus behind the annual NBB Player Sponsorship ~ refer the Bulletin Board thread.
The 2022 seasons Player Sponsorship had a standard cost of $2,495, whereby a sponsor could choose ANY player.
NB I'm yet to confirm if this format will be rolled into the 2023 season.
So, prior to any consideration for Nicksters to get behind a player, the most pressing decision is to start a poll, in order to gauge interest and if we have sufficient numbers to commit.
All going well, we can find 50 Nicksters willing to contribute. (I'd envisage a raffle of the Sponsorship prizes to those participants, but I'll save that detail for a later update)
It'd be great to get behind a player for season 2023 so as Donny would say, "Let's hear ya !!"

2023 MAGPIE ARMY package $3,795
• An exclusive invite for you and a guest to watch the team run out pre-match before
one game
• Tickets for you and 3 guests to attend the President’s Function at a home game
• Access for you and a guest to attand the Carlton Draught Lounge at two home games
• Mingle with your player at our exclusive Meet and Greet event
• Player Sponsor gift
• Collingwood x Nike Merchandise pack
• A 2023 official team signed guernsey
• 2 x general admission memberships
• 10% discount on other Collingwood Corporate Hospitality
• Access to purchase 2 x Finals tickets for Weeks 1 - 3 should Collingwood make it
• Have your name or business name recognized as a player sponsor on Collingwood’s official AFL website
If we were to go ahead and sponsor a player, the package benefits would make good raffle prizes. We'd need a minimum $50 a ticket though. Still better odds than Tatts or getting the Melbourne Cup trifecta. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

Didn't get the requisite number. FWIW, I would have pushed for Arlo Draper. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

Each to their own but while ever the AFL gives us the minimum allowance I won’t be contributing my own hard earned. We’re obviously too rich for our own good. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

We got 12?
Gee, that really surprises me. I thought we'd get at least 100.... $50 a ticket.
As well as the club items ($3795) there'd be some cash prizes. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

^not sure where the resistance is, the raffle alone would be worthwhile entering for the range of prizes.
Maybe as the season nears there .ight be some renewed interest. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)
