Post subject: Numbers on SS shirts. Why ? | |
|
What's the point of Shield players wearing a number on their backs, but no name ?
Unless you're at the ground and (presumably) have bought a card, indicating who's wearing number 34 or 17 etc, how do you know who's who ?
I watched some WBBL play and those Women have numbers, but also names. So do IPL players.
Although it'd be better if the names were above their numbers, instead of one of the sponsors. _________________ Donny.

Interesting.
I notice the WA players have their names above the numbers, but the Vic players haven't. _________________ Donny.

I wonder if there a cricket “record” or a local paper with the player names and numbers? _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

Far too logical mate.
How I long for the days of 88/89 when the shirts had names but no numbers. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |
