If so I wonder if clubs will rollover payments made this year for 2021? |
There was an earlier article that mentioned a 30% discount but not sure if that was official or not? |

if no games are played at all, id expect it to roll over to next year, at least 50% of it. If games are played but we cant go id want 30% toward next year. If we win the premiership and we get to go, they can keep it all!!!! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

If we cannot attend any games this year I am happy for the club to keep a nominal fee for the legends membership but I expect a refund on the reserved seat which cannot be used an entire year. I would also expect my consecutive years of membership to remain intact. |

Has anyone rang the club for a full or partial refund and got any stories on how the club dealt with it? |

^ I’d hardly think the Club would provide details on how they dealt with others.

Carro in the age reporting clubs have approached ATO for possible 12 month ruling where we can claim membership costs as a tax deductible donation.... _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Tax deduction. Well, that'll solve everyone's financial problems. |

Quote: | Tax refunds for AFL club members?
An exclusive from Caroline Wilson.
AFL club members could claim tax refunds on their 2020 subscriptions in an Australian arts industry model being explored by the clubs.
Clubs are waiting on a ruling from the Australian Taxation Office, which would benefit members who continue to financially support their clubs despite the likelihood of being prevented from attending the remainder of the season's games due to coronavirus restrictions. |

Normally an organisation has to be a DGR (deductible gift recipient) in order to qualify for donor tax deductions. Currently sports clubs don't qualify

He said he's a Legends member so surely calling the club would be the best way to get the information he's looking for _________________ https://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/sav-sinks-the-dockers/ |

Any word on what’s going to happen with members caps, assuming we won’t be allowed to games to pick them up? _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Already have mine; collected it before the AFLW/bushfire double header. |

Hi Clemo,
Thank you for contacting the Collingwood Football Club.
Unfortunately, we can't send these caps at this time. This is because we're currently working from an off-site location, and as such we can't post caps from the Holden Centre like normal.
Once we return to the Holden Centre we'll be able to send caps once more, although it's unclear when we will return.
I wish you and your family well for the coming weeks and beyond.
Kind regards,
Norman |

I'm interested in what happens with memberships in 2021 if social distancing requires a vacant seat between supporters. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |
