I'm still here ~20 years since joining - I'm a regular daily reader but rarely post these days. Still great to catch u on VFL scores, injury news and general debate. Thanks everyone keep it up!

I do miss Jack Spain, and Fence banger was a nice person, met her at the footy bout ten yrs ago, and at a Nicks BBQ at Vic Park, have not heard from here here for ages. Love to catch up again.

Would anyone be interested in reading threads from the ghosts of Nicks past? e.g. while we have some 'down-time' for real content in the off-season, would you like to see "The Monday Bump"? whereby each week (off-season only) I coud dig up a thread from days of yore. You know there's some gold in them there threads.
With that, if any Nicksters know any of the old poster faithful as mentioned in this thread, feel free to give them a friendly Craig Kelly pinch in an attempt to get them fired up and back ont the board.

I was at that BBQ! Was it 10 years ago? 1970 and others were there as well as Stui, DTM, a woman with some health issues who used to post …forgot her name. Pieman and a few more.

Cant remember her screen name but her name was Anne, and she fought a long hard battle with Cancer, it got Her in the end xx

Ive been here a few years and actually had my account frozen or suspended in the early years for letting off steam, think I started in 1999 ish.
However I was allowed back in and have behaved with maturity loll.
I still dont know anyone here and thats fine bc I take the info I need while trying to contribute what I can but being from country NSW
Im not in the hub so tend to look from afar.
The content can be mindless dribble between Nicks members but sometimes its not, so take what you can.
Having said that I think its ok to let off steam and sometimes its hilarious if its put in a witty way.
I love talking about the potential of players up and coming, you know the positive stuff.

when you first wandered over in your MAMIL costume and started chatting without introducing yourself, I thought you were a starving cyclist trying to score a free snag. 
Yes, Ken was there, he tried to hip and shoulder me during some kick to kick, and the backwards Madonna who could have run between your legs without ducking, pretty sure Tess was there that day too
