Cheers guys, gee Dawes looks in great shape I reckon he is in for a big year.
Seems to be doing a lot of competitive work vs L.Brown and all shots looks to be beating him comfortably.

Thanks for that Brian. Great photos. Tristan Francis looks solidly built & Luke Rounds has also been in the weights room. Corrie has slimmed right down & Wood has put some muscle on his arms.
Great shots with supporters geting autographs. Well done.

Thanks Brian. Your photos are excellent and they capture the excitement of the session, every time ! I can't wait for the season proper.

Disappointed Jack hasn't bulked up. His lack of size was an issue against some of the bigger full-backs i.e Brian Lake.

I used to be undecided, but now I'm not so sure.

There is only one way Jack beats Lake one out.
Get on his bike & lead. He needs speed for that not bulk.
Nobody in the AFL out bodies Lake, but he is suspect to a hard fast leading forward.

Correct again woftam, Lake is the best defensive mark in the league. Reads it so well in flight and superb body use. He'd be the last full-back you'd want to go one-on-one with when the ball's in the air.

There are some great full-backs going around at the moment and they don't just give goals away. Jack is a work in progress, and he's simply going to have to get better to combat them. On the plus side he's obviously got a big competitive streak.

There certainly seems to be a bit more muscle on the likes of Reid, Dawesy, Wellers and Pendles, among others. One bloke I have noticed who looks super fit in any pic I've seen is Dids. If the pics tell the story, he will be a permanent midfielder once again. I reckon he can take it up another step this year as he is still only new to the midfield caper. He has the attributes to use his body better in tight, so with a big pre-season, extra time to adjust to the tighter spaces of the midfield, and the likes of Ball and Jolly around him he could be in for a big one.
