There is no way a fit Ben Reid would have been towelled up like that by Tom Hawkins. Shouldn't have played.

We were screwed either way.. Nathan Brown was out with a knee and next in line was Keeffe which would have been a disaster

Can't argue with that on last night's showing by Keefe. You're right. Without Brown, once Reid was injured, we were always going to be cactus. Had Keefe played Hawkins might have kicked ten goals. Oh the ignominy. Rolling Eyes

Keefe is still years away. Someone said he plays small, forget who, but I agree. I reckon Boomer Harvey could out mark Keefe.

I've said that before. He doesn't realise how tall he is, but also marking overhead doesn't come natural to him. He can nail them when he has a chance to set and go, but struggles in a contested situation. He's a 204cm half back flanker.

Having said that, he has promise as a spoiling KP defender but won't ever be a patch on Reid.

Ben Reid is a superstar and showed enough in his cameo role last night to suggest he's back. Very Happy

How we missed him in the GF. Rolling Eyes There is no way a fit Ben Reid would have been towelled up like that by Tom Hawkins. Shouldn't have played.

Leroy could have done a job on Hawkins and Goldy could have played on a wing/half forward.
