In a word, Yes.

Eade lost his coaching nous in his last season with he Dogs - was a stunned mullet in the coaches box as he was tactically out coached.

He brought nothing of value to Collingwood and was only their to take the heat off Buckley through the media, but Bucks proved he could handle media really well.

So as soon as it was evident that Buckley could handle himself in the media, Ease was Mr Irrelevant and was mooching coin off the club.

Eade was a good servant and is a good coach. Let's dance on the grave of annoying others such as the blues, Greg Swann, Daisy, Kevin Pietersen, Floyd Mayweather, Max Kellerman, Mick Malthouse, Jack Anthony, Nick Davis, Anthony Mundine, Andrew Demetriou, Ruby Rose, Paul Marsh, Mark Brayshaw, Mark Howard, Luke Darcy, Jason Richardson, Neil Mitchell, Patrick Smith, Caro, KB, Scott Cam, Darren & Dee Jolly, the dude host of The Voice, Alistair Lynch, any betting AD's, Jamie Rogers, Michael Angelo Rucci, the 19th man, Metro transport, inner city Hipsters, Justin Bieber, AFL Players Association, Adam Scott's putting, Aaron Finch's forward defence, Eitihad food & beer prices plus Supercoach injuries before we bag Rodney Eade!!

So I have to ask, was Rodney Eade the problem at Collingwood and not Bucks?

No.

Buckley made some mistakes as coach, and has been trying to fix them over time, the only problem there was that Buckley was inexperienced and it seemed Eade while meaning well with players, and other coaches wasn't the help it seemed that Buckley needed.

Eade's got many problems at Gold Coast, most of which were there before him and if nothing gets done could be there when he leaves as well.

Err, wasnt that the same rodney eade who was at collingwood last year when we were 8 and 3 after the first eleven last year.

Motlop was on the juice before a game three weeks ago, so is the assumption that the cats also have a culture problem ??

I agree that being the senior coach of an AFL club has probably passed rocket by but to say he was a negative influence at the pies, is a long bow.
More likely, any club that allows ablett to do what he wants when he wants, had issues long before Eade got there.

TD is DTM on big footy. He's been guilty of starting a thread on BF first before here, but blatant thread stealing from another poster on Nick's? Really Dave....
