I have no doubt Jesse White will be named CHB - new role ( and final chance )

Yep. Ch 10 news are reporting that Reid is being held back for Rd2 (still think it will be Frost replacing him, not White).

Thanks Neil, loving your work.

I was looking and hoping earlier that this would appear after a few titbits on one of the news sites.

Any nominations for a breakout season?

Yeah in the VFL!

White is on his last chance but he needs time in the 2's developing his defensive game - it could work out - we certainly need another tall with Reid often injured and the loss of Keefe.

Great report, some exciting things happening. Quite disappointed in selection, especially with no Varcs or Reid. I love Caff, but on the last month or so I'd much rather have Grundy. His work around the ground was easily the best I've seen from him. Goals, passes, big marks, confidence... the stuff he's been missing to become a truly great Ruckman/midfielder! Yes, Witts looked the best I've seen him too, much more solid, but not as accomplished away from the circle as Reg, and the bit of mongrel & size in him is exactly what Darcy's lacking (though he's getting there), how can we risk him playing backup ruck?!
I feel like I was watching completely different games from Buckley!
I saw inspired, brilliant play, incredibly UN-Collingwood-like kicking, and a side which averaged well over a ton, which is a MUST!
This side won't kick over a hundred. Cloke's missed 2 will infect other forwards and smack the confidence of the rest.
But then he's the most hopelessly conservative coach as far as selections I've ever seen. it's cost us two great players and a whole lot of time.
