any chance he might provide some new information. very old news that i thought was well known. the media certainly love the smell of blood. no doubt, jez07 will know who is driving this story.

Very well known.

Mick himself told part of this story publicly, saying that a player had come to him with the idea of putting together a petition.

I thought at the time that it was probably Daisy. Smile

Piss funny that now apparently it's old news.
Yet back then just about every Bucks worshiper denied it being true, used any player re-signing, including those mentioned, as the evidence of players love for Bucks and attacked anyone suggesting most senior players have no time for our revered coach.

That pic is a bit unfair on Maxwell, even Barrett said that he was only involved as a player leader, so he passed on their concerns to Pert etc. There was no suggestion that he was an agitator.

Very self-serving definition of the word 'most', don't you think?

Maybe the 'head up the arse' brigade are simply trying to see where you're pulling your conclusions from.

Bring up all you like. Succession plan or not, if MM was that good why was Carton the only team to get his services and 3 years later drop him halfway through the season?

Maxy's take on Malthouse in 2009-10 and the effect of the succession plan: "I felt that he probably made calls or decisions that helped us win a premiership he wouldn't have if he had more years to go."
