Maybe an idea to not play for an 'honourable' coach saving loss. Drop duds, play kids, win or get flogged. Fess up and forget the coach and think of the team and the club.

That's strange...I thought Cox did Ok against Ryder. I thought Cox was by no means a part of the reason PA defeated us.
The fact that they have both Selwood and Hawkins out helps us, but the main challenge I see is simply the mass depletion in our midfield. De Goey might now be injured and WHE likewise might be. If these two guys are out as well as Pendles, Wells, Greenwood, etc, then any chance of a win does indeed look extremely remote.

He got his hand to the ball in the ruck contests quite a bit, but even the commentators mentioned that he rarely put it to advantage of our players - due no doubt to his lack of footy experience. Grundy is also an extra midfielder, which was greatly missed.

You can thank those pox kunts at the MRP for that, as well as our spineless administration for not appealing Kangaroo Court's decision on Grundy.

I saw Kirby at the VFL on Sunday. If he is in the AFL side, he wont get a touch on that form and it'll set him back a long way. He needs a serious pre-season, so get him working and wrap him up for 2018

I reckon you're right Mugwump. However, if either of De Goey or WHE are under an injury cloud, then we may see young Daics debut. In any case, he should come in to replace Blair.

^ no argument with that, RB. Blair was ineffectual last week. One week of impact, three weeks without, as usual, alas.

Magpie Bat or any of the regular VFL watchers - is Keefe any chance to play.

He would be a good one to take a key back position (or swing forward/ruck) and free up Goldsack to take the third tall

Or Keefe could play up forward and Darcy could spend some time at CHB. I don't expect it, but it might be worth a try. However, I don't really know whether Keeffe's VFL form has been good enough.

In:Daicos

I've given up hoping for Kirby to get a game.

THIS!!! weak as piss for not challenging that.If Zeibel didn't even get looked at and Wines got a $1000 fine for a deliberate, high, dangerous tackle, which would have seen a Collingwood player rubbed out for at least 3 weeks.

Surprised Really ?? I thought he was kicking bags of goals, from what I heard. But, you must be correct, I guess.

I'd like to drop Moore for a game and put in Keefe. He didn't have a bad game last week but he's not the messiah - a second big body up forward might be good, and we could see where Keefe is at.
