This kid has started brilliantly. Tough, great mark, thumping kick and great skills. Wants the ball in his hands. Would be hard to see him making way next week at this stage.

We’ve found one here. Ben Reid’s body shape and cool under pressure. He doesn’t look like a debutante, looks like a hundred gamer. A lock for best 22 next year.

Was about to say exactly the same thing. I'd be tempted to keep him next week for sure. Seems pretty assured and proved that he has the ability to make the leap. He had time which is often the thing that the young kids struggle with..
Does Howe replace Madgen or Oxley? Probably Oxley.

Settle, the kid is at least 8cm shorter than Reid and is no more a KPP than Langdon is, but he did well in his first game

We need to remember this kid is still only 18.

 Damien Oliver physique for sure, but he really did well in his debut game. Hope he gets another game next week and perhaps give McClarty a go instead of Madgen. |

Settle, the kid is at least 8cm shorter than Reid and is no more a KPP than Langdon is, but he did well in his first game |
As I noted recently, he is 190cm and expected to grow to 195cm he tells me.
They hope he then plays at 90kg.
Like Scharenberg, but quicker and better athletically.

He's listed at 188cm. You're telling me he's actually 190 and expected to grow another 5? On advice from whom? Have his balls dropped yet?
