I think the Dockers are laughing all the way to the bank getting a first rounder for this spuddish player.

You'd be wrong then.

TWO first rounders.

22 pressure acts

Nothing useful of course, but he did 22 pressure acts.

As elite forwards go,he’d make an excellent back pocket.
His failure to finish in the last quarter was the difference.

Must have included all them missed tackles in final term in there somewhere?

Or is there a separate column for useless acts?

Given what Richards and Harrison are doing he is seriously underwhelmin. He could have 100pressure acts and we wouldn’t notice

I remember when Chis Mayne was our whipping boy for quite a while.
Then in one game he played a blinder and saved our arse and he suddenly became “Mayney”. Hopefully Schultz becomes Schultzy sometime soon.

I don’t understand how Schultz cops so much flack here while McCreery gets a pass?

McCreery shouldn’t get a pass either but it’s possible because he has speed it doesn’t get as much attention. We basically can’t have 2 players that just play as pressure forwards. The form of Harrison and Richards has put these 2 on notice especially if Elliott comes back in the near future. Also the hope is McStay is possibly back in late August which means one of these guys gets dropped.

The kid has not yet set the world on fire re scoreboard but his effort and pressure has been elite.

He consistently ranks highly in relation to 1% and stat wise is equal to or better than a few others who seem to be getting judged much more leniently by some whom I suggest probably don’t know much about footy.

He wasn’t picked up to fix everything that ailed us in the forward line and I’m pretty sure Fly and the coaches are happy with his output thus far.

Will prove to be a very valuable pick up moving forward. March on Sarge!

That's easy.

McCreery cost draft pick 44
Schultz cost draft pick 34 last year and Rd 1 this year.
