Possibly David, only played a couple of games in each of his first couple of years but was that due to injuries or was it because he couldn't force players like Wakelin, Rocca, Fraser etc out of the side.

I think he had more issues early in his career, didn't he? We didn't see much of him for the first three years, even though his potential was clear from day one.

Recruited as a skinny kid that needed developing (as is the case with most talls). Also had the yips as a forward and was re-modeled as a CHB during that time. He played 8 games prior to 2010, but couldn't break in to the team mostly due to form/body development which is not uncommon for a developing KPP.

Is there only one yips as a and was re-modeled as a CHB during that time?

tippet is 28 yo, so he probably has 3 years left.

pies don't need another tall forward

I beg to differ. We do need a couple of young KPPs developing in the VFL to ensure the team can transition to life after Cloke. Moore will partially address our longer term needs, 1 other would be very nice. Marsh is a project player who could develop but you can't afford to put all your eggs in 1 basket.

What we don't need is another established KPP although you're only an injury or 2 away from shoit street.

Paul Hawke, Robbie Ahmat, Paul Licuria, Anthony Rocca, Kent Butcher, Nick Davis...just some of the Syd-Collingwood trades not mentioned in this link as yet. Not a bad list. Sydney-Collingwood have a very good relationship trade wise.

To be frank, Sam looks like he is playing better then Ben did at the same age. No offense Benny.

Can we play: Cloke, White, Grundy, Witts, Reid and Reid in the one team?

Sam Reid has the potential to play in defense where the Swans are lacking talls anyway, so I don't see much of a problem for them.

Could we do a deal? Possibly. But it wouldn't be because we have a need where they have a surplus. We have more KPPs than the Swans at the moment.

I'd play Reid between the lines.
