Hmmm..... that prospect either way, appeals to me as much as going on a date with ones mother in law. Ah, well, it is what it is, Finals are very different, we go in as underdogs in both games, u never know. If we can win at least one Final this season, im pretty happy, our future looks wonderful now.

| I'm not worried who we play. I would have preferred to beat the tigers first up, but neither the Hawks or Eagles, wherever the games are played, has me concerned. The other teams will be shitting themselves at the prospect of playing us.

Playing West Coast is in some ways preferable than facing our bogey team in Hawthorn IMO.
West Coast will be warm favourites and expected to win so the pressure is all on them.
If we had of lost to Richmond it could have meant we would have had to face the Eagles coming off a weeks rest in a preliminary final so I prefer playing them now without this added disadvantage.
Good result for us today also.
Lose to West Coast and we now get a proper advantage against an interstate side the following week while one very dangerous opponent in Melbourne or Geelong will be eliminated from the contest moving forward.

TRUE, ive read our footy history, and even 100 yrs ago, the Lions and Magpies utterly loathed each other, fans used to get into huge fights post games, in the nearby suburbs. The Lions were our most despised team then, pre the Blues. They beat us in GFs, and we beat them, the rivalry was massive back then. And of course, there was the GFs losses to the bastards, not so long ago too.
