Grundy would have to be a HUGE chance for the Brownlow if he stays fit and plays all 22 games _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

One more thing. We won the clearances well in the last quarter,so that was a good sign. But I still think we need Sier in there long term.He showed last year that he is one of our best centre square players, and I think we’ve missed him this year, |

Should have won last year. He was the dominant player in the competition. Still is. |

Skids must have had his heart in his mouth. Very important goal by Stevo and the point by checkers got the cash for him. Oh and that aint going OOF.
Some sore boys after today.Treloar, Checkers and Beams all got crunched. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

Another game where we are matched then with 10 or so minutes they blow a side away
Reid was a great contributor either kicking goals or using him experience to
body a player out (or smart knock on)
He and Grundy were great
But back to blow sides away we seem to let them think good things then drive
a knife into their heart _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right

Did he have Sidey for the 30 disposals again? |

Sorry to sound like a broken record and continuing on from the game day thread, but WHAT A GAME Stevo!!! Could be the scotch talking as well!
Not sure if this shows up on TV, was watching from the Ponsford and was in awe with the amount of ground he covered, and at pace.
Anyway, will be my last Stevo post for at least 45 minutes! _________________ Magpie Jumper Gallery:

Sensational step up in gear in the last qtr.
Saints pushed us until 3qtr time, and then we blew them away
Well done to the two Brodies, and Jaiydn for the performances in the game.
Hopefully the ALP win the election tonight, to top off a great day _________________ Social club member 7342 since 2000.

Grundy, Beams and Treloar each had 7 clearances and Beams had 4 centre clearances.
Also, it will be obvious from the replay but Reid's class really showed out today. Like the rest of you, I expect his legs will fall off soon but he was fantastic. 10 score involvements, 5 contested marks, 16 disposals (10 contested), 3.1, an immaculate pick up and handball for the goal assist and a chop out in the ruck for Son of Odin was a fine afternoon's work. |

Today I witnessed another ability to shake off mediocrity and go to top gear
Currently watching 2nd qtr of Geelong v Dogs and the two best sides are
diff with Cats simply toying with oppersition
Our style is do ya best opposition then hang ya cue in the rack and see how it’s done
Which is premiership footy _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

The big thing for me out of today’s game is that Maynard really needs a new hair stylist. |

what a brilliant 1/4 of footy, was there doubts? |
That’s what I thought. I was disappointed in his game last week because I know he’s better than that. Perfect 10 out of 10 today. |
