We got to unsettle em early target ryan and kennedy's ankle. Levi and Maynard to start spot fires and leave dirt and bruises over them. De Goey to get busy. Treloar needs to give us 4 quarters. Daicos to bring the magic. Grundy to punch the ball like Monky used to.

Sadly, Varcoe is no longer AFL standard. He's been in the league one or two years too long. When was the last game he had a real impact, and how long has it been between two really good games for Varcoe? |

Last year on this board I went through the stats for Varcoe.
I looked at 2018 and 2019 seasons.
Varcoe showed a steep decline in performance across all fronts.
It was obvious he was gone ... but still the Club continued with him.
Same with Thomas..... kicked 4 goals for the whole season in 2020.
Christ i reckon a basic suburban footy player could record that.

Wont work, the Weagles are big bodied seasoned pros. They would probably enjoy it moreso.

Weagles may be playing a couple of injured players out of desperation, hit the and hit them hard, lose or win , we will have a red hot go i reckon.

He played a good game at the end of 2011. For us, he was very good in 2015 - but it's been a slow decline from there. From an average of 17 disposals and a goal about every second game that season to an average of 11 disposals and a goal every 9 games. |

We have the talent - extraordinary talent. Still I can not remember being more resigned to losing a match.
I would not be surprised if they no longer want it, as soon as it's a bit too hard tonight, and we got smashed.
Grundy would have to totally reverse form, and Stevo kick 6. |
