3 year deal (will be 35 in his last year...), 600k per year, good when fit but sometimes goes missing badly, 19 games in his last 3 season - sounds like a utter bargain... lmao!!!
Honestly, he may be good for us but its a big big risk. |

Of course its a risk so is plucking a kid in the pre season draft, for that matter so is stepping out the front door.

In 11 out of the 14 seasons that he has played, he has played 18 games or more. Brad Scott always said if he has a good preseason, he doesn't break down and he will have a good year.
Give the club some credit, they would have done their due diligence, which would have included a medical. |

He played 19 games this year and was one of North's best players.
He's a great pick up by us and could well emulate Burgoyne's influence at the Hawks. Even if we only get 2 good years from him, that may be enough to snare us a flag. I've always rated him as one of the most skillful players in the AFL so I'm rapt he's coming to the Pies. Who knows, he may end up delivering us 3 good years after all. |
