It's a tough game, I have to cheer for my team and the opposition coach.

I'd have doubts over the fitness of Karnezis and Seedsman. One may be a chance as a sub, but I don't know if they're ready for a full game.

There's only one obvious change:

in: Keeffe
out: Brown

After that, one of Thomas, Adams and Kennedy needs to play (possibly add Dwyer to that list). These are all players who we're looking to take a step up, they can't go too long without senior opportunities. Against a team like the Saints, there's no sense in playing it safe. I probably wouldn't go for more than one though, we do need to try and keep some stability about our lineup.

No tiprat? No Ross Lyon? No MM insanity? Things just aren't what they used to be. Very Happy

We should win by 20 goals.

I will be happy if we just get the four points.

I just really hope we aren't 12 goals up at 3 qtr time only to have St Kilda kick eight goals in the last.

Pies by 45 pts.

As usual, we play a mob on a Friday night and it is their 'grand final'.

I expect St Kilda to come out all guns blazing.

Not sure who is in/out for us but would tip Keeffe to replace Browny.

Would like to see Broomhead to play and one of Adams/Thomas/Karnesis/Seedsman play if fit enough to do so.

I would rest Grundy and flog Witts in the ruck with White as support.

Pies by around twenty points, although a blow-out would not surprise..

Seeds the sub

No sense making 4 changes unnecessarily. Won't happen.
Seedsman hasn't played a full game in the magoos yet and doesn't deserve a spot on exposed form.

My best guess is they go Brown out, Keefe in and that is all.

Id expect Karnezis to play, possibly at the expense of White or Witts.

I think it's a good game to get into Witts for his development and maybe confidence. Much weaker opposition ruck and back line for him to play against.

We ain't likely to win the flag this year. Development of our kids is the key consideration. We must keep on the strategic path.

Keefe for Brown is clear.

Maybe rest Ball for JT or Adams.

Patty in for whoever needs a rest or has a niggle.

We "should" romp it in but remember a few here thought that we would "romp it in" against the Crows too. Shocked That worked a treat!!
I would much rather that we took this game seriously than just an expected roll up to win scenario... Rolling Eyes
Beware that this is the Aint's annual grand final. They will fire right up.

One of those games where we need to consider the health of umpires. Goal umpires, that is. On one end there's a great risk of Repetitive strain injury through the constant waving of both arms while on the other we have the danger of Deep vein thrombosis due to lack of movement. Pies by 83!

How long before brown will be on the long term injury list? Can Martin be available this week? Can it happen that quickly?

Can't see bucks making more than 2 changes.
Obviously brown out Keefe comes back in.
Maybe one other to give us some more forward options. But then again bucks might choose to put Goldy foreword if Frosty is ok.
Saints arent overly tall forward so might work well for us.
Happy just to get 4 pointd banked and no injuries or reports.
Anything over a 4 goal win is a bonus for us.
