Significant outs. Would have thought there was a spot for Keefe in this team.
Obviously pleased for Daicos.
Good to get a glimpse of the future on the MCG.
Go get em, Pies.

Keeffe or Schade should have come in for Goldsack. Definite mistake replacing a tall with a short, but this has been going on all year and that's the reason we're not participating in finals this year. Having said that it's great that Josh Daicos has finally broken through for a senior game and hope he goes well against Geelong.

You don't like fielding a back six comprised entirely of half-back flankers? Shocked

Im left scratching my head as to why cox, moore and reid are playing.
Blair, never in doubt.

7 of our best 22 out, including half of our midfield.Hopefully people won't get too upset if we lose.

I agree. Maybe he'll come in from the emergencies. It's a bit more likely than Ramsay coming in (much as I like him, I can't seriously believe they want to play 7 half-back-flankers in the one side).

Geelong firm favourites with the bookies. I think that is our weakest team fielded all year. Might become a bloodbath.

I wonder if we've ever before had a half forward line, or any line for that matter, comprising all sons of former greats? I love it. Cool

I have had a re think after looking at their team. They will most likely only have Taylor as their key forward, with Smith and Buzza rotating in the ruck or drifting forward.
It's the old story, if we get first use out of the middle, then maybe the selectors think we can go in undersized in the back six.
Buzza has shown a bit in his couple games, he's tall and raw but has a go. Hopefully we can exploit him ( although they would be saying the same thing about Cox )

Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.

However Geelong have Wylie Buzza at CHF. Not since Orazio Fantasia has there been a better name.

The SELECTION DECEPTION of Jarryd Blair continues! How stupid are the supporter group or how dumb is the match committee. Can't help but feel it's the LATTER!

We also have Josh Smith and Tom Phillips.Thankfully they didn't put Broomhead in but I'm afraid we're staring at the biggest pantsing we've had all year. I hope I'm wrong and I'll watch it but Blair???FFS.

Broomhead is in

We are absolutely doomed. This will be nasty.I don't usually look for him on the wing. This is probably a worse a team than Tony Shaw ever dished up.It's the worst team I ever seen in my 64 years of being a Collingwood supporter /member and I feel as low about a footy game as I have ever felt. MY Birthday tomorrow, so I hope the boys can bring it home for me.! Got to be realistic though, we have seven key players out, its going to be a big, big ask. I just hope daicos and brown have really great games, run the ol cats around, and I hope we have a red hot go. !
