Umpires can use that quarter for training purposes:

Umpiring always tends to call against you when you don't have the ball much. We just went back to our stop-go chipping and stinking decision making. They also have much bigger bodies and they are breaking tackles as the fatigue comes on. Looks like it'll end badly, but let's hope. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Lead shamelessly by walking talking whistle-blowing lump of shit Nicholls.
This grub makes Stevic and Schmidt look like Collingwood fans. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Reidy has not done much forward, and nor has Jeremy Howe impacted. Time to switch them in the second half? |

Is there anyone who can tell why Buckley just doesn't take Blair off the ground and tell him.TIME!!! he has led 5 times and got smashed every time .He either stops leading and does the ROVING like he is supposed to do or just get off.Phillips has coughed up 2 goals with such poor execution that it makes me want to spew and Broomhead is really y tearing them up EH!!! Not. |

Interesting now to see how Bucks responds. He had a plan of switching to attack, and Scott nullified it in the second quarter. Does Bucks have a counter to the counter? |

Agree. If we honour Blair's leads, we always turn over the ball. By leading, he is being a fatal distraction. |

The best thing about this game so far is Cox, I think severally have one here. Grundy to ChF, (hasnt worked in the past but it takes time to learn and he'll a hard match up when he does), one KPP problem solved. Cal browns been good. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Well, my first game live since round 2...and not much to get excited about.
Forwardline is as dysfunctional as ever after a promising first quarter. Constantly kick to 2 or 3 on 1 with no crumbers. Blair continues to be a lead up option. Amazingly, he stayed down and crumbed front and centre once and who would have thought, it worked (he's also broken a tackle too...bizarro world).
Panic kicks to a player outnumbered out of defence, switching play with no real plan or isolated player down the field. Hand balls to players under pressure. Really just more of the same. I mean, I saw Philips run past a player who had just marked the football and call for the ball...on his RIGHT FOOT hemmed in on the boundary. He proceeded to turn it over. A. Why is he calling for the ball in that situation, and B. How can our player not recognise he's a left footer on his wrong side and not give it to him? It's small shit like this that separates our VFL type play to elite potential.
Players like Smith, Philips, Broomhead, Blair ... surely they're not part of our future?
I was here to witness Daicos's first kick! I'm content. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Cox's first half is hopefully a sign of greater things. He's a brute when he's clunking them. _________________ Get back on top. |
