Yes, Mihocek could definitely be the answer. He’s kicked 4 goals I think 4 times this year. And remember a few weeks back when he destroyed McGovern? More of that please. Bucks mentioned in his presser after the Melb game. Having another tall in F50 (Roughy) means that Mihocek can play his natural position and not be the only tall target. |
Perhaps, if we used Magden as a decoy forward, Brody would benefit from the presence of another tall forward down there and Roughy could go back to his best position at full back, where he has been so important to us all year. |

Is there any evidence that Madgen has any idea how to play forward? I'm pretty doubtful about that strategy, to be honest. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

^ that is the very reason I would have preferred Goldsack as a forward! Still the Coaches would know more about the players than we know. |

Anyone else notice that Murphy came back on the weekend could be a handy player if he gets back fit and firing. _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

Nicksters' forgotten man-child Fogarty has 5 goals. | ...
Fogartys kicking from around 40+ was perfect. He’s always been a lovely thumping kick. We won’t want him getting to many looks at goal. | ...
Lloyd: "The best kick for goal in the game" and "the purest kick I've seen in a long, long time". |
He repeated this on Ch. 9. He said it's the best in the last ten or fifteen years, and he called his kid during the game to come and look. He hopes DF plays a lot of games just so we can enjoy his goalkicking. |

^ And of course Sloane was a late(ish) draft pick, one spot before our pick... |

It's hard to be concerned about Sloane, given that he was gone when we picked. The more interesting question is why we took Blight and then Rounds when Rhys Stanley, Neville Jetta, Michael Walters and Shane Savage were available. Lucky we nailed pick 11. |

No - Hannebery went at 30. Missing him was a disaster. |

Why?
Because, although young Daics has been ok in getting the ball, he is way too tentative in his disposals imo. Much like the way Woewodin used to play, he too often stops and props, before kicking 20 metres sideways or backwards. Of course, sometimes these are good options, but it seems to be his first instinct, which slows down our ball movement imo. What is lacking from his game, something we get from both Noble and Quaynor, is a willingness to take the game on and initiate fast attacking football. |
