Ginnivan as one of the players to make the final cut
They have tried a few this year and we have seen McCreey /Poulter/Bianco show real potential
To the new coach. Mate you have got some quality to build a top unit

Surely Ginnivan plays. It’s not like theres much holding him back.

I’ve lost all respect for the people who select this team. I think they took the wrong path when they terminated Buckley’s services. What they should have done was leave Buckley there and terminate everybody else in the football department. |

Cameron produced a career best 4 goals against then ladder leaders Melbourne and it was a continuation of some promising performances so far this season from him.
That Cox was then selected under those circumstances (and without dominant VFL form also) was questionable to begin with but now after 2 games where neither have produced much of anything it seems counter productive and we have two players halving each others opportunities and producing an output that just one playing alone could provide.
I don't have a problem with Poulter being omitted as his form had been trailing off and it's time for a refresh and reload at VFL level.

I agree with Mr Baz Boy.
I would also include Wilson (for Mayne) and 'manage' Poulter and include McRae.
Callum Brown in for Josh Thomas
Outs: Cox, Mayne, Daicos (inj) Poulter (managed) Thomas
Ins: Lynch, Wilson, Sier, McRae. Callum Brown
I would reward Ginnivan and make him injury sub...

O one that clever at Collingwood unfortunately. Brown. Thomas. Mayne and Madgen. I will stand corrected it I don’t think we’ e ever won a game when these 4 have been in the same team. |

Does not matter who we name. Turn out that same garbage effort that we did in the first 3 quaters and we honestly would struggle to beat VFL teams.
Enough Harvey and other coaches worrying about their jobs in 2022..they mostly likely won't have one...just let the team play.
I really don't care if we lose by 50+ points. I just wasn't to see attacking fast moving football. The score does not matter.

Its pretty clear that Callum Brown and Jack Ginnivan replace Daics and Caleb Poulter.
If Cox does not play, the only possible replacements are: Ruscoe, Kelly, Henry
I don't think Henry will be selected. He was listed among the best in the VFL, but I think he needs to stay there this season.
Maybe we are going to replace Cox with Kelly? Kelly was not named among the best in the VFL.
Nor was Ruscoe.
I am guessing that the intention is to select Cox, unless the weather is wet, in which case we might omit him for someone else (probably Ruscoe).
Footnote: I do think the VFL ratings given on our website are somewhat dubious. In the main body of the article, Tom Wilson is mentioned as starring for the entire game, but does not get listed among the best. Lynch was described as giving a dominant display, but likewise is not mentioned
