Trade alert: Hill joins the Magpies
We have our first trade completed for 2022 and the deal sees GWS give up Bobby Hill and pick 40 to Collingwood in exchange for the Pies’ pick 43 and a future second-round pick.
“Those who know me understand that Collingwood is the right place for me to take my career. There is a special dynamic with this group, and I am really looking forward to meeting the boys and being guided by Craig and his coaching side.”

As I’ve thought/said for the longest time about the setup that we have built
“Build it and they will come”. Right Bobby??? _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I hope he's our version of Tyson Stengle.
Both 175cm small forwards with blistering pace. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

So we have attracted Bob & Dan but I ponder
Had we had the Fly years back would a Jerramy Cameron felt the urge
Or was he $$$$$ driven _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Love his leap and pace.
Could be anything if he stays on the park. Will fit in nicely with our take the game on style. |

In the highlights package there’s a mark he takes between May and Gawn which is a ripper. Welcome to Collingwood Bobby Hill. May you have a long and successful career at Collingwood. Go Pies. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Our game style that doesn’t rely on premium ruckman which was not part of our DNA for majority of 2022
Is it shock & awre we are on about _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I assumed he had talent, but I was actually surprised by his highlights package. He’s jammed a bit into a small amount of games.
The number 37 reminded me of Kirk Ugle for some reason. |

So, does he take Jack’s spot or Beau’s? |
