Unless my memory is clouded by one too many bevvies.... if there's a Bummer's player in doubt, they will be playing. Take it to the bank.
Oh and if one of ours is in doubt they won't play. That's just the way it is. _________________ Side By Side Forever |

Cooney did his hammy......(not that I wish it upon blokes) but that's another we likely won't have to cover. _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds

Sam Gastin didn't respond when I asked about this on the online chat.
Gaston said Reid finished the game in a tracksuit.
Hopefully it is nothing serious. |
Quad nick. Scans to come. No Reid for Saturday. _________________ All We Can Be |

well, that helps, least that little prick zaraharkis cant kick a very late snag to pinch the game, as happened a few years ago. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

If those players do end up being out for the bummers then it would certainly even out the odds.
Even with them in I think we are sneaky chance.
I expect us to improve as the season goes on but grab a win this week and finals don't feel that far out of reach for this group this year. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

If you look at the sides out of the 8. Only the power look out of place. Only 4 or 5 good teams this year. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Unless it was a deliberate ploy for distraction, Carlisle said he was going for a routine scan on a hip flexor problem that he sustained during the match & was able to play on for a fair bit of the game (heard this pm (about 3.30pm) on SEN radio). _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Cooney's definitely out for this game but if Zaharakis and Carlisle are out as well our chances of winning increase significantly in my view. I still think even if Zaharakis and Carlisle play we're a chance but we'll be underdogs nevertheless.
It's going to be an interesting few days on the injury front. I hope Taylor Adams is ready to go and I would love to see one of De Goey or Freeman play this week or maybe Darcy Moore will get the nod. However I don't want these boys rushed of course but if the club feels that one of them is ready then bring it on!
Is Jarryd Witts in contention to play and replace Gault most likely or does he still have question marks on match fitness levels? Assuming he can play I think the inclusions will be conservative and consist of Adams and Witts coming into the side replacing Karnezis and Gault respectively. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

I am expecting the Bombers to win. On current form they look a better side as we have some major outs. In saying that, if their outs come to fruition and the weather is lousy this could be an ANZAC day classic with a kick in it at the siren. I am putting dollars on a draw. |

^ moore in the vest and pk to play a whole game? doubt pk would get the vest two weeks running. i don't think players get the vest two weeks in a row.
i would like to see gault retained but the weather might also influence that. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |
