I’m glad it’s not a Buddy or Cox poll, because he’s done for the year. Imagine if we’d got him a couple of years ago like we almost did? Another perennially injured list clogger.

I prefer Cox because he has that X factor and a bit of mongrel. I just wish he could mark more often, and the umps would ping the opposition more for blocking his run/shoving him under the ball/chopping his arms.

^^

Remember poster BigKeyForward? Wonder if he's still do the Franklin trade? I think he suggested Hugh Greenwood too though, and he's doing pretty well at the Suns.

The fact that both players are playing in the same team together, shouldn’t be about who kicked one more than the other ( unless of course it’s an unlikely blowout )
Both their positions are about attacking the footy. Neither are much chop at the moment, so splitting packs and hurting the opposition is as important as a contribution on the scoreboard.
This is my main criticism of Cox. Tomorrow he should be playing like his footy career is on the line ( just like Miochek does every week )
Attack the ball hard at every contest and the rest looks after itself. Guarantee that is what Bucks is looking for and if he shows he wants it more than Cameron, then all the better for the rest of our season.

Cameron, Jeremy Cameron. Neither Cox or Darcy Cameron are required if we could ever land a big fish

^Jeremy is overpaid and overrated. I'd rather take a punt on Daniher if he passed the physical.

PnC thinks he's a dud that we overpaid for (pick 56 in exchange for 62)

He would have drafted Tom Lynch instead

Cox hasn't bulked up at all. His high centre of gravity makes him too easy to displace. Sadly, he's a tall who plays small. His knocks and taps at ground level are all good, but he offers very little is the aerial contest.

He only gets a game because of his height.

He would be better suited at the team that needs a ruckman. He just isn't effective as a tall forward.

We're almost hamstrung by how good Grundy is. We moved Witts on to then become a club captain. I reckon Cox would be a great first ruck at many clubs. His control and direction of taps is underrated.

The problem is, he hasn't demonstrated centre square ruck effecvtiveness. No team will pay overs for a guy who can't ruck in the middle.

A 3rd round pick would be about right for a 29 y/o tall person.

I just want to say, well done to big Coxy, along with De Goey, he was great tonight. Some have knocked him on here for some time, and they know WHO they are, but he does his job, hes solid, and adds dimension to our forward line,. He had a shocking eye injury last season, taken him some time to get his act together, but he did it tonight. To all those who doubted, wipe the egg off your faces, right now. ! I never doubted him, ever.

Three cheers for the Lanky Yank. Very Happy

I didn't name myself as masoncox if I didn't think he had potential.

Cox was good tonight. Credit where it's due.

Though long term we still need to find a suitable key forward option.

And another 2 goals whilst setting up a couple of others for JDG.

So yet again outperformed Cameron’s greatest ever game!
